Talk, and he talks back
Say "Hey David" on your phone and just ask. He answers out loud, and you can cut in mid-sentence.
Talk to David like a person. He answers out loud, keeps track of what matters to you, and helps on your phone, in your browser, and around the home.
Free to try. Every account is approved by hand.
Download
Pick how you'd like to use David. All three are the same David, with the same chats and memory.
Downloads are for approved accounts. Your account page has the app and the code that links it to you.
David isn't on the Play Store, so Android asks once to allow installs from your browser. That's expected.
What he does
David is built around how you actually live: out loud, on the go, and with a memory that carries over from one day to the next.
Say "Hey David" on your phone and just ask. He answers out loud, and you can cut in mid-sentence.
Preferences, plans, and what you've told him before. See everything he knows, and make him forget anything.
Alarms, timers, reminders, your calendar, opening apps, and texts only after you say yes.
Start on your phone, pick up on a laptop. Your chats follow you, with photos and files.
Weather, your day, reminders, and the headlines, read to you when you wake up.
David searches the web when it matters, and thinks it through when it's hard.
How it works
David runs on Brian's own computer, so every account is approved personally.
Tell us your name and email and choose a password. It takes a minute.
Brian looks at each request. Once you're in, sign in with your email and password.
Chat in your browser right away, or download the Android app for voice and phone help.
Pricing
Every account gets free answers each month. Want more of David's best thinking? Add David credit as you go, or become a member.
Payments are handled on Stripe's secure page. Card details never reach David.
Safety
Safety comes first in everything David does.
Your chats, memory, and journal are yours. Nobody else with an account can see them.
The public site can't reach David's settings, code, or the computer he runs on. Those stay with his owner, at home.
Everything David learns about you is listed in Memory. Forget any of it, or close your account and all of it goes.
Your account page shows exactly how much you've used this month. Passwords are stored scrambled, never as text.
Request an account, and you'll be talking to him as soon as it's approved.
